Designed to appeal to golfers looking for a slimmer profile – i525 irons comprise of a forged, maraging-steel face to significantly increase ball speed and total distance, all whilst providing a soft feel and satisfying sound on impact. Featuring strategically placed perimeter weighting – i525 provide an enhanced level of forgiveness, simultaneously delivering long, towering shots which hold the green on landing.
Utilising Micromax grooves – the precision milled pattern allows for a more efficient layout on the face, providing an additional four grooves – reducing mishits on shorter irons and increasing consistency in spin on longer approach shots.
Maraging-steel allows for a thinner, more responsive face – the internal sole undercut creates additional flexibility – allowing for shots to come off the face with increased ball speed and higher launch. The polymer injection inside the face aids in improving sound and feel on all shots, again assisting in increasing ball speed across the entire face.
The hydropearl 2.0 finish is designed to actively repel moisture and preserve the integrity of the clubs – ensuring longevity and providing consistent performance round after round, no matter the conditions.
PING i525 Irons are available as standard in 4-PW and are fitted with Project X IO (Regular or Stiff) shafts alongside a Golf Pride 360 Tour Velvet Grip. Custom fitting options are available from 3-UW in a number of shaft combinations from Regular to Extra Stiff.
